This duplex apartment in the historical center of Cortona, is conveniently located one minute away from main road Via Nazionale, one minute away from Piazza della Repubblica, Teatro Signorelli, cafes and many wonderful restaurants. A 3-minutes walk to Piazza Garibaldi where you can take a bus for nearby cities and villages (this means you don't need to rent a car!). Minutes away is also the Parterre Park which allows to enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Trasimeno, or to stroll away from the center. Though centrally located, the apartment is in a very quiet area. Parking is available on the street or in the more comfortable Cortona's Parking lots (check parking map). Any of Cortona's parking lot is minutes away from the apartment.
The apartment has a Roman well in the living room, and an impressively large fireplace in the kitchen. The first floor of the apartment includes the living room, the kitchen, the den, a foyer and a full bath. The second floor comprises two bedrooms, one full bath, a walk-in-closet, a linen-closet, a foyer and a fireplace. The original terracotta floors and wooden beams, give the apartment a pleasant historical charm.
The apartment was recently renovated and all its amenities are new and modern: brand new bathrooms, one with shower and one with bath tub. Brand new kitchen, stove and refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster; brand new tv set, stereo, cd-player, hair-dryer, washing machine. The furnishing is composed of antique and modern furniture.
